Boating Green
[4/27/2010]
This boating season, MasterCraft owners are looking at ways to “go green” while out on the water. Reducing fuel consumption, cleaning boats safely, tuning the engine and recycling onboard waste are great ways to be environmentally friendly.
iDrive Boats Program
[9/15/2009]
iDrive Boats believes that boating is fun when it is safe for everyone on board. So, they designed a certification program to be utilized from the computer, from a classroom, or from the water. Their trained instructors and course material writers have over…

Troll? Really? Way to class up the place. My family and I are doing a bit of reasearch before we plunk down 60k-100k on a leisure product, and listing issues that have me second guessing Mastercraft is being a Troll? If I were MC I would want to know....and no, I am not asking MC to kiss my butt, I'm not the one who has discovered these problems or dealt with any of them, you current MC owners are. Companies of all sizes and quality have issues. Remember Porsche in the 80s? Started the same way if I remember, had a premium product, marketed to the masses, quality went down the crapper, and pretty soon they were borderline laughing stock (924 anyone?). They have since reinvented themselves and are back. With the company being sold, and the economy, where is MC in this process? I want to know BEFORE I buy. There is a good deal of blind love on this board. I know my kids aren't the smartest kids on the planet, but I don't love them any less. My eyes are open, are yours? I'll be damned if I go buy an 80k MC and not be able to burn half of my gas in my tank, or have my pump fail buring the only gas available at 98% of gas stations....pretty soon you will be telling me I have to run it on liquified baby seal fat. I like the MCs, especially the x25 and x35. If it wasn't for these issues I would of probably bought one already, but these issues have me jumpy, and content using my current IO and my buddies Moomba, content saving a bit of cash and waiting for the first used x25s to come around. by n9740b |

| Cruise Control???? |
My '00 230 VRS has the same "Speed Control" switch on the dash that is not connected to anything. I was stoked when I saw that switch and pushed it up and down while driving with no effect. I stuck my head back there and saw that it went nowhere. by Jeff d |

| Twin '94 Prostar 190s |
So his is a protour boat? should say protour instead of prostar on the rear side? thats cool. On the 93 protour, there is no difference than if you got a prostar w/ the slot. on the 94 protour, they did a spray mod to the existing spray relief pockets to know the spray down one more line length. by DooSPX |

| To Fog or Not To Fog? |
I always fog, why not? It does not take much time or money and it makes sense to coat cylinders for storage. by mayo87prostar |
